On TRIPCARRY, a preferred-airline group is not a cheapest-flight ranking

TRIPCARRY separates selected airlines from additional results. Understand that grouping before comparing a fare, and distinguish the airline directory from prices actually returned for your search.

Read the group before reading the position

The current TRIPCARRY flight page uses Korean controls. Its explanation says that selected airlines are shown in a first group and other returned airlines in a second group, with confirmed prices ordered from lower to higher within each group. A result appearing in the first group is therefore not, by that position alone, cheaper than every result in the other group.

If your aim is to compare prices rather than prioritize a familiar airline, look at the relevant results in both groups under the same search conditions. This guide is for readers comfortable using those Korean controls; it does not imply that the site provides an English interface or English-language booking support.

Do not confuse the airline directory with searched inventory

The page separately lists airlines and links to their official sites. It states that this directory is not a fare ranking and that airlines whose prices were not retrieved are not included in the comparison. An airline name in the directory is not evidence that a price or an available flight was found for your dates.

For any result you want to compare, check that it actually relates to your requested route and dates. Keep an unavailable or unqueried option separate from a priced result. A missing fare does not tell you that an airline is expensive, sold out or not operating the route.

Make the final comparison on the seller's terms

Before choosing, compare baggage inclusion and other relevant conditions rather than the displayed amount alone. The page offers a checked-baggage search preference, but the seller's fare conditions still need review. Confirm the total payable amount and change or refund terms at the external booking site.

TRIPCARRY states that booking and payment take place with external sellers and that it neither searches every airline and fare nor guarantees the lowest price. Use the groups as a way to navigate the results that were returned, not as proof of a market-wide cheapest ticket.
