A paid seat selection is not necessarily a cabin upgrade after a TRIPCARRY flight search

Read the seller’s product label before treating a seat-map purchase as a change of travel class.

Identify what is being sold

A seat position, additional legroom and a different cabin are not interchangeable descriptions. Record the exact flight and the seller’s wording for the optional purchase. Do not infer lounge access, extra baggage or a new fare rule from a more prominent seat on a map.

Ask which benefits actually change

Check the cabin, boarding document and included services before paying. If an upgrade request is pending rather than confirmed, keep that distinction in your travel plan. The conditions of the underlying ticket may also need a separate check with the seller.

Keep the search and purchase stages separate

TRIPCARRY provides a starting point for flight comparison; it does not confirm every airline’s upgrade product or availability. This English guide is for readers able to navigate the current Korean service interface and is not a promise of English-language booking assistance.
